Hedgie and Robin

Hello to all my blogging friends, just thought I would come on and tell you why I have been missing, well sadly my mum has been poorly on and off now for a long time and as some of you know I go and look after her.
She was in hospital the other week and had investigations done it turns out she has lung cancer, I am devastated as you can imagine it's 4yrs ago since dad passed with the same thing.
I am there for mum and it's all I can do she does have good and bad days there is no treatment for her but she doesn't want chemo anyway.
Thank you all for your kind comments on my blog, I do have cards in draft so may upload some.I will get round to see your blogs when I can.

 

This is one of the cards I made with the cute hedgie, a gorgeous holly embossing folder,i used some glittery vellum.star charm gems and glamour dust.

The sentiment is recycled.

 

Winter robin

Made the card using  the gorgeous wild rose studio stamp, i coloured it with pro markers, decoupaged it then added stickles and glitter. Nesties dies,Paper from stash.I used a holly embossing folder for the background.and some die cut flowers which i glittered then added pearl maker and a dusting of glamour dust.The ribbon from my stash and a die cut flourish.Hope you like?.

Sorry i haven't been to visit your blogs my friends but i have been spending lots of time looking for my cat who is missing.He went out on the 9th Sept and not returned, i have been on facebook and missing pet sites trying to get peeps to look out for him.
I am heartbroke dont think he will come home now.
I will come and visit you all real soon.

Xmas tree

I haven't  been blogging as much as i have been unwell but ok now.

I made the easel card for a change, i have had the tree for ages i layered it up then added glitter, i strung together the beads onto wire and wrapped around it.The die cut is a nestie circle which i added gems to.

The paper is from su (i think) i used a die cut xmas tree border and a snowflake (ribbon border).The spotty ribbon from stash with a hand made bow and a snowflake button.

The holly i made with fimo, the sentiment is a pink petticoat one printed then die cut with a new nestie. Also used lots of glamour dust.

Topiary

Just thought i would show my latest project, i saw a tut for this on you tube so decided to have a go.
I started out rolling the roses using dies i had sore fingers at the end!.
I picked a branch out of the garden then stuck it into a oasis ball.
The roses are stuck on with tacky glue then i painted it with mod podge.
I got the pot from Ikea and ribbon from stash.The grass is from the garden centre.I gave this to my mum on her birthday i am pleased with it so i am going to make more in a christmas theme.What do you think?

Wedding Card and Candle

Better late than never!
 Just thought i would upload the card i made for my daughter's wedding in May, i made it using this lovely stamp that i coloured with pro markers.
I made it into a shaped easel card, nestie die cut, some lovely printed acetate in lilac as this was the colour they had.
The flowers ribbon and charm from my stash.

I made the candle to match the card putting the names and date on and i used a lovely heart stamp for the other side and also lots of stickles. I added a string of pearls around the base..
The one at the bottom is a pic of it wrapped they do look better in real life, and Natalie and Andrew loved them.

I just love this LOTV stamp i stamped it out then used pro markers to color then die-cut with new nesties. The paper is pion winter.I added glamour dust and little flat backed pearls.

I stamped and die cut the sentiment and the snowflake (sizzix),Added a memory box die down the side and some tulle with a tree charm and pearls.To finish off i added some frantage around the distressed edge.Hope you like?

fancy a cupcake?

Made this using Pink Petticoat digi image of yummy cupcakes.i coloured with pro markers then added puff paints for depth.I added glitter.the paper is from one of my dp pads, lace from stash.the gems and little bun embellie from stash.The corner bow is die cut and finished with one of PP sentiments.
